Joan Webster-Vore
(b. 1954) grew up in Rockford, Illinois.
She received a BFA in Art with an emphasis in drawing, an MA in Textile Design from the Department of Home Economics, and an
MFA in Design from
the School of Art and
Art History at the
University of Iowa.
For the past 17 years she has concentrated more on painting and drawing then textiles in her personal exploration.
Recently she has become immersed in an investigation of incorporating drawing with three dimensional structures.
